Todora Radeva
Executive and Program Director
Todora Radeva is a cultural manager with over 20 years of experience. She has a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies from Sofia University. She is the founder and artistic director of the Reading Sofia Foundation, which implements the projects Literary Talks, Literary Walks and Hidden Letters. Programme director of the Sofia International Literary Festival from 2013 to 2020.
Owner and manager of Studio 24, which actively implements projects in the field of documentary cinema. Todora Radeva is the author of two collections of short stories: A Possible Beginning, awarded with the Yordan Radichkov Prize 2023 and Seven Ways to Wrap a Sari Around the Body – Southern Spring Debut Award 2005.
Demna Dimitrova
Public Relations and Strategic Communication
Demna Dimitrova graduated in Journalism and later studied in the Master’s Program Art and Modernity of the XX and XXI Century at Sofia University. For almost 15 years she has been involved in the promotion and is part of the organizing teams of events in the field of literature, theatre, performance, contemporary dance, jazz and contemporary art. She has been part of the Reading Sofia Foundation since 2015.
Her critical texts, reviews and interviews have been published in art publications or online media such as Svema, Toest, Dance Magazine, New Dramaturgies, Lit vestnik, Portal Kultura, Programata, Dnevnik, Impressio.dir.bg, Stand.bg, Academic electronic magazine for arts and culture Piron, Lik Magazine, Homo Ludens, etc.
Ivana Hitkova
Event Organizer and Main Coordinator
Ivana Hitkova was born in 1996 in Pleven. She graduated in Journalism from Sofia University and completed a master’s degree in Translator-Editor, specialising in German. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Media and Communication at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication. She has published reviews in Lit vestnik, Nula 32, Krastopat, ArtAkcia, as well as various authorial materials in the online media Pod mosta. She has worked for the Sofia International Literary Festival and the Cinelibri International Book to Film Festival. She has been part of the Reading Sofia Foundation’s team since 2022.
